We can level and smooth your slab or work with you to find a piece of lumber that will work for your needs. Specialty tables, mantel pieces, benches, and bar tops are all examples of projects that can be fabricated with large form slab lumber.
Severely twisted slabs are difficult to flatten as the amount of material that has to be removed to flatten the slab can be prohibitive. Wood is very sensitive to moisture and moisture means movement. Always be aware that slabs can move or twist over time with moisture fluctuation. Because of this there is no guarantee that a slab that is prepared flat will stay that way forever.
